Fred

Fred was born and raised in the NT and his extensive career has been in urban and remote settings largely across the NT, and he is well networked across the housing, homelessness and support service systems. 


  • Fred is passionate about supporting and developing teams, innovating to solve operational and policy problems, delivering sustainable results and excellent service. He has been an active member of CHIA NT since its establishment and is a member of various housing and homelessness reforms and policy groups. 

    Fred’s Qualifications include:  
    • Diploma of Community Services; 
    • Global Executive Masters of Business, Sydney University; 
    • Certificate IV in Business (Governance) BCA National Training 2014; and 
    • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment 

    Fred’s most recent career includes four years as State Manager at the Salvation Army NT, delivering multi-site management of services and strategic development and implementation of governance, funding, communities of practice and stakeholder relationships. His role led the coordination of homelessness, alcohol and drugs, Family Violence and Youth responses as well as partnering with housing providers to sustain tenancies.  Previous roles include service planning and coordination for regional councils and NGOs, including in remote communities.
